Our story

Why we host the way we do

We live together, work together, and run our business together! You might think we would need time apart, but we genuinely love what we do and love spending time with each other.

Hospitality is a passion we share. As frequent travelers ourselves, we know what makes a stay memorable and comfortable, and we strive to provide that same experience for every guest. We have proudly hosted our short-term rental since September 2024.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, and Isaac grew up in Venezuela before making Pittsburgh his home over 23 years ago. We take great pride in maintaining a spotless, welcoming space and personally inspect the property after every cleaning to ensure it meets our high standards.

When we're not working, you'll likely find us kayaking along Pittsburgh's rivers, enjoying live music, or exploring the city's incredible restaurant scene. We love hosting and are committed to making every guest's stay exceptional in a beautifully designed and comfortable environment.

How we host

Four things we promise every guest

Stocked before you arrive

Coffee, snacks, detergent, fresh linens, a Pack 'n Play and a high chair are already here. No shopping run on arrival.

Self check-in, no waiting

Door code, parking spot and building details arrive in one clear message before you travel. Come and go on your own schedule.

We actually reply

Message us any time during your stay — for a dinner recommendation or something that needs fixing. Most replies land within the hour.

Flexible where we can be

Early check-in and late check-out are available as small paid add-ons when the calendar allows. Longer stays are welcome too.

The living room space was perfect for relaxing. We prioritize a good night’s sleep when traveling, and the bed was the plushest I’ve experienced in any rental or hotel. The blackout shades kept the bedroom very dark, and the sound machine, combined with my earplugs, effectively blocked the street noise. The building felt safe, the dedicated parking spot was a great convenience, and the location offered an easy walk to several coffee shops and restaurants as well as quick drives to other neighborhoods. Communication was a breeze - Julie always responded quickly & instructions were very clear. We plan to stay here anytime we're back in the area - it's a great find!”

“If you need a place to stay in Pittsburgh, look no further. This place is wonderful - amazing host with great recommendations, beautiful furnished apartment, comfortable beds and pillows, impressive focus to details that make this place stand out from others (make-up mirror, full length mirror, glass food storage containers, to go coffee cups, etc.). The neighborhood is also great - restaurants, shops, and cafes easy walk from apartment.”
